The 2022 Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards were held on October 29th in the midst of the Baltimore Comic-Con.
Blowback was fortunate enough to be one of five books nominated for Best Original Graphic Novel. High praise indeed.
Although we didn't end up winning that award, we still didn't go home empty handed.
Captain Martell of Blowback took the title of Fan Favorite Villain and co-creator, James Hereth, was on hand to accept the award.
